This place suits me perfectly! I love the free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and tv. The staff helped me find parking during my first stay, and I've always felt welcomed. I can't wait to return for Christmas!

The room, while clean and reasonably priced, had issues with a strange odor, potentially from the nearby storage area. Despite lacking breakfast options, the friendly receptionist was good.

Good location and value. Easy on/off the 101 and plenty of food options nearby. I enjoyed the free wifi, free long-distance phone, hbo and fridge/microwave in room. Not a fancy hotel but it's clean, functional and safe. The management were very professional, friendly and prompt with requests.
The Caltrain runs one block away and is loud. There is a street crossing near hotel and the Caltrain sounds it's horn every time it passes. Mostly I heard this during the rush hour commute in the morning.

The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The towels appeared dirty and the toilet was clogged. It felt neglected and unwelcoming.

Bathroom dirty. Black mold on the grout and black spots of mold all along the shower curtain along the edge of bathtub.

Nice staff made me feel welcome even though I arrived very late at night. Went out of their way to find parking accommodations.
Construction or carpet cleaning crew was noisy during the late afternoon.

We had a nice family getaway and the kids loved the nearby parks and attractions. The location made it easy for us to explore various activities without a long commute.
My wife says that the cleanliness could be much better.

I really appreciated the convenient location of Sequoia Inn. The staff checked me in quickly, and they were friendly throughout my stay. My room had a mini fridge that kept my snacks chilled nicely, which I found quite handy. The bed was clean and provided decent comfort after long days exploring. The room had a stale odor that lingered, less enjoyable. The bathroom also needed some updates, as the fixtures showed signs of wear. There was no breakfast offered, which I expected for the price. More accessible facilities would help seniors or those with mobility issues too. Despite a few drawbacks, the stay was generally pleasant, especially for the value.

Good wifi signal, owner was nice to work with. Nice desk, chair, fridge and microwave in the room, good for working, easy parking. This is an inexpensive motel, you get what you pay for. It is fine for a budget traveler, just don't expect perks, because you are not paying for them. If you understand that your stay will be fine. There are many places to eat nearby, the motel is on the main drag.
Some things to be aware of: trains go by and will wake up any light sleeper, so bring ear plugs. The front desk person may try and charge you more than you booked for, but will work out a different price upon notification. Just check your receipt.
